Visual Arts

Students across all grade levels participate in the Visual Arts Program at Mount Clear Primary School.  Throughout the year students experiment and learn about the five elements of Visual Arts, these include: Shape, Texture, Space, Colour and Line.  Students also extend their skills and knowledge of Visual Art appreciation and learn to critically respond to other studied artists.

Our Visual Arts Program offers participation in community based art activities such as The Ballarat Begonia Festival and The China Challenge.  This year our students have had the opportunity to work with an Artist in Residence with a drawing focus.  All students’ art work can be seen on display throughout our school buildings and at local school community events thus creating a wonderful atmosphere amongst students.
