House Colours

At the beginning of 2025, we proudly introduced our four Houses: Lakorra Lelon (Sky Lizards), Mirri Darrwal (Sun Dingoes), Yaluk Barrabin (Creek Turtles) and Wiyn Loklok (Fire Eagles).

To celebrate, our students worked with First Nations artist and parent Tammie Watts to create stunning House artworks. Guided by Tammie, our First Nations students helped shape the designs, learning about the meaning and symbolism behind the art while sharing their own ideas. This was a wonderful way for students to connect with culture and take pride in their House identity.

Each artwork tells a story of connection—to sky, land and water, to our local Yarrowee Creek, and to each other. Circles and lines represent students, families, staff and the wider community all joining together. Stars and running tracks symbolise achievement, teamwork and the idea that while we belong to different Houses, we unite as one school community.
